Angel Kebab

This is my local kebab house. It has just had a refurbishment and it has a modern look now, it’s also clean and tidy. The food is what you would normally expect in a kebab. Shish, doner, wings, pizza and chips. All the food is of a good quality and the portions are generous.
The staff are friendly and always polite.
The prices are fair… about £5 for a Shish and £6 for a large. 8 wings, Salad and pita is £5.

I couldn’t possibly comment on this place as when I partake in its food I’m usually off my face stumbling blind drunk using my magic homing beacon that sends me home to bed.
But for all its worth I remember the food being quite good, admittedly I’d probably eat a dead horse when I’m in the state I am when I eat here but oh well.
The staff were efficient and friendly and able to understand the slurred words of many people. A skill that is underestimated in my opinion.
In all seriousness this place serves a purpose as a cheap late night food stop to soak up your alcohol from the night. I don’t think the food would blow you away but rate it highly for what it is.

This is actually a really nice kebab shop on Essex Road — it looks really average from the outside, the chips are average (from frozen & sold in Styrofoam containers) They sell Pizza that is aOK — nothing to rave about.
‘So why do I like it’ you ask? Ooh, they do really fantastic falafels! and really great Adona Kebabs! AND BBQ grilled Chicken wings too!
They have a proper Hot Grill on which everything is made so it’s all freshly cooked in front of you. You may have to wait a bit for your Meat feast (or non meat feast), but It is worth it!
Salads are the usual fare and they have a nice selection of garlic & Chilli sauces.
Ooh did I mention the Hoummous? Yum, really tasty!
They open late — so great for a late night feed to soak up any excess alcohol from your night out.
I have to say, I have had their kebabs and falafels on non alcoholic nights/​days and they have been just as tasty!
Cheap too!
Oh, I must mention the guys that work there, they are very nice & friendly too!
