Food was incredible and very authentic. The chicken kebab and koobideh were outstanding. My only critique is that the restaurant is extremely quiet, so it makes it a little uncomfortable while you’re eating because you feel like you need to whisper while talking. It would be great if they turned up the music a bit so the atmosphere felt more inviting and relaxed.

As an Iranian new yorker seasoned in expat Persian cooking, my first experience with Persian food in London was a great success. The mixed kebab platter was outstanding, the fresh mint tea delicious, and the décor striking and pleasant. Only disappointment was the tahdig– a little chewy and oily. Will definitely return!

The food is tasty and delicious, great selection of persian foods. Would recommend the kebabs, also the starters.

Really bad. They attempted delivery to TWO incorrect addresses before they got to me, and then it was minus half the order. Do not use, as there is much better out there, and with more manners.

Delicious Persian Food in a wonderful setting. Wine list available. My favourite is Tuesday’s Dish of the Day«Loobia Polo»! They also deliver which is perfect for the winter months. Enjoy!

I would describe this as a modern Persian restaurant as it doesn’t have the usual décor of Iranian yesteryear I’ve seen in other places, however the décor is beautiful. The food was good quality and thoroughly enjoyed. Reasonably priced too. The Persian tea was ok, but was not placed on a tea light candle which is the traditional way of doing it. The service was friendly, but a bit slow and I think they would do better to learn more about Iranian cuisine. I would definitely visit again.

I had a quick lunch there and it matched in quality my favourite persian restaurant(Alounak). Service was quick, and although they don’t show it off like other Persian restaurants they do prepare their bread freshly in the house it is slightly thicker than normal but still tastes fantastic. A place worthy of a visit.

You already know I love Persian food and one of my favourite restaurants is Alounak in Bayswater. My Iranian friend recently introduced me to Anar and it is as good as Alounak and their Wednesday special is really really good(I can’t remember what it is now called, but I shall update the post once I find out). This place is a little pricier and nicer that Alounak which is about 15 minute walk from it. Each has a little bit different atmosphere but both serve exceptional Persian cuisine. Enjoy!

As a perisan food addict, I am delighted that this restaurant is literally around the corner from my home. And, as an added bonus, they deliver to the local area if you can’t get out. Super friendly staff that remember you if you’re a repeat customer like me & husband. Highly recommend starting with the kashke bademjan dip if you love aubergine like I do. It is my favourite dish on the planet. The mast-o-khiar is a creamy cucumber yogurt dip that is also great with the flat bread. Their kabob is delicious served with mountains of rice and a yummy grilled tomato. The portions are enormous, so I always have to take ½ of it home — so really it’s 2 meals in one!
