This is a great little independent café located right on the edge of Hendon Central tube station. They do excellent toasted ciabattas and foccacias with fresh mozzarella, tomato, olives, pesto, ham etc, all the classic fresh Italian sandwich ingredients. The sandwiches are fresher than Costa Coffee next door, and also cheaper. The only thing I go to Costa for is their iced drinks in the summer. Amaretto also have a good selection of tasty treats on the counter, and the staff are friendly.
