The best breakfast in London in my opinion. I love the food, the people and the price.

Al’s is slowly becoming my Saturday morning tradition. It’s a tiny breakfast place that does all the basic English fare. Have only tried their bacon sandwich, which you cannot really go wrong with, and plan to stick to it. The service is fast as one would expect at such places. The waitress who brings the food always has a huge smile on her face, which is always a welcome sight, One wall is covered with a pretty cool mural, and is fun to sit and pick out all the inaccuracies in the scenery. All in all, a decent greasy spoon tucked in a cosy neighbourhood.

I got the traditional this time. Amazing as well. Comes with beans sausage, fries, bacon, and eggs. I finally tried brown sauce and it turns out its basically bbq sauce pretty good, a bit more tangy than regular bbq sauce but its essentially the same. Great place Ill probably be back to try a buncha other items. I love that the tea is at the perfect temperature as well. I always get the tea!

Full English breakfast for cheap and fast. What more could you ask for? It’s not pretty, but I enjoy the food. They have really good sausage, beans, eyes, bacon, everything.

If you like cooking oil, you’ll love Al’s every meal is a soup. It also has the stalest tea I have ever tried. You can feel the tannins and tar turning your teeth black as you drink it.

Oh yeah, that’s what I’m talkin’ about. A straight up, no non-sense steak and eggs type of joint. Not entirely sure about their pork chops but there’s a wide range of other breakfast permutations to choose from. Come hungry.

Sparkling clean, fast, friendly, cheap and hearty food in the middle of Bermondsey Street — nice mix of customers. Full English was as tasty as anywhere and tea was served at perfect temperature for drinking, not setting my mouth on fire. Good place.
