All Bar One

I am not a big fan of Leicester Square! If I go there then because of the movie theaters, otherwise its too touristy.
We had to wait an hour for the next film and our stomachs … don’t ask! Whole Leicester Sq. could hear our stomachs rumble. Options to eat:
Bella Italia — NO, Pizza Hut — Hell NO, Burger King — Excuse me?
It wasn’t my idea either, but we ended up in ALL BAR ONE. OK its a nice location to mingle with friends, drink nice cocktails… etc.
We however went there because of the food and I won’t do that again.
I ordered wok noodles (£7.25) with extra pan-​fried tiger prawns (+£2.75) and a Russian Slim Fizz (Cocktail with less alcohol around £6).
My plate came and … what a disappointment! If I had not the extra prawns the size of the main course would fill my two hands… and my hands are tiny! OMG £10 for a child meal, seriously.
My poor stomach the only thing I could make it happy with was my cocktail.
Maybe the chef ran out of noodles and thought nobody will notice. I have no clue. I guess some people here don’t mind if their meal is small, but I had to use a magnifier to find something on the plate.
Anyways, the place is OK, but I won’t be a fan.

hmmm most people seem to like this place, but I think it’s just ok. I generally don’t really like chain anything (hotel, restaurants, bars.) and I think the atmosphere and look inside look like a chain place. Sure, it’s in a great location, has a great outside area, and is pretty big, but still I would prefer to go somewhere else with more character. It’s a good stop if you’re in the area, but I wouldn’t come here just to for all bar one.

Good central location with a good feel/​ambiance.
Food is ok here but it’s a nice place to hang out with friends once in a while when people are coming in from all over the place.
All Bar One’s are fairly similar in style and this is no exception. If you like the vibe of an All Bar One then you won’t mind this one at all.

Not a bad spot in Leicester Square. Pretty good location actually. Clean with nice décor inside, and an outside seating area as well. It’s a chain (as everyone else has already remarked) so the menu and booze selection is standardized. At least you know what to expect. Bathrooms are relatively clean. Service is friendly and responsive.

Its chain but… it’s a good place to meet up with people, its very central.
The drinks were reasonable in price and the food was adequate.
Overall, its a good place to gather and begin to enjoy an evening.

Ok so I did not know that this was a chain, at least I thought there were only maybe one or two more. Nevertheless this location though touristy is fun to gather a large group of people.
As my group was from different parts of London and of all tastes and backgrounds, this All Bar One proved to be a neutral venue in a central location. Maybe there is something in the name.
The décor is classy and the drinks reasonably priced. We tried a few appetizers which were just ok. On the chalkboard the menus stated a few items that would make me drool if I were hungrier.
The crowd was especially pleasing as I met quite a few people who were there just t o meet others without any pretention.
Will definitely use this as my Central London first spot.

It’s an All Bar One innit? Sticky tables, sticky floor, lots of stag and hen groups — more like a slightly posh Wetherspoons really. Anyway, there was a very tasty sauvignon blanc (I seem to prefer chileans, and there was one here, although it was £6.50 a glass so ought to be as tasty as it was), and we sat outside under the twinkly lights and looked out for celebrities (we didn’t see any) and tried to stop the wobbly table from tipping over and to prevent me from falling off the broken bench.
So basically, great for multi-​taskers.

A light and airy bar which is nice on a saturday or sunday afternoon to go in and grab a couple of drinks and some food. The service can get a bit slow with the food when it gets busy on a saturday lunchtime but other than that it’s pretty good. Bar prices are typical london pub/​bar prices I would say — glass of wine is maybe £4.
In the evening it is quite popular and has a good lively atmosphere if you want to go somewhere for a few drinks before a club or even theatre or something or it is lively enough place to want to stay there all night.

I do love the new menu in All Bar One, they are pretty much the same where ever you go, the chips are great and so are the desserts. I like the layout and tables in All Bar One, its chic and basic, nothing fancy no loud music, just a really nice place to meet up, and you know what you are getting.

Great Bar to go to for a few drinks, work just opposite here so been here a few times with my work pals! Not sure how much the drinks cost (as my manager pay’s :)!!) but im sure it isnt other prices other wise we wouldnt of gone back and i would of heard about it! ha, Also noticed that they serve here. haven’t actually looked at the menue but what i have seen all loks very nice! So if your around in town and fancy a drink or somewere to meet up with work then try this place out!

Been here a few times with my colleagues for a drink would not know the prices cause my boss always pays lol!
However, the atmosphere is quite cool, trendy music and they also serve food. I have never ordered or eaten here but have seen the food and it looked like they serve a wide range from tortillas to fish and chips. Great bar to go to on a friday I say for a great atmosphere.

It’s nice enough. It’s quite trendy with a more-​interesting-​than-​most menu. We went on a rainy Sunday afternoon and there was bags of room. We ordered burgers, mine came with chorizo and red peppers, was very nice.
The staff weren’t quite attentive enough though. When my friend asked for some mayo to go with her burger and fries, it didn’t arrive until her plate was almost empty. And when we ordered our food at the bar, we were told its meant to be waitress service to our tables but that didn’t happen. They’re both problems we weren’t that upset about though so it was a decent enough visit, and the food was the best bit about it.

Tant qu’a aller dans un bar a leicester square, autant aller quelque part ou il y a de la place ou la biere n’est pas trop chere et ou on peut s’assoir dehors. L’endroit en lui meme manqué de caractere mais c’est sympa et agreable donc on pardonne.
On peut egalement y manger et le vin se laisse boire. Pourquoi pas donc?

Typically a place to hang out with your office pals after a tough day at work to grab a couple of drinks before you head out for main course. The place is nicely done up with an option of sitting outdoors in case you can’t let go of your cigarettes. It’s quite crowded even on weekday late evenings. So you might want to grab a chair earlier on in the evening!
