I honestly wish I could give this place 0 stars! When a family walks into an establishment no matter how busy you are, you should have a little bit of curtesy to greet them and tell them that you’ll be with them shortly. We walked in stood there for 10 minutes and then sat ourselves. When we sat down at a table out in the open, we waited and no one came to greet us or take our drink order. I then got up and asked a worker«is there any way we can get served soon» and she proceeded to tell me «sorry it’s just me and I’m the only one here» when there were other servers around. NOONECAMEUPTOUS. And they weren’t even that busy! Unacceptable and unprofessional! Worst experience I’ve had this far in London. I have nothing to say on the food or drinks because we walked out. Nice looking interior though. I DONOTRECOMMEND.

If there were zero stars this would get rated accordingly. Completely disinterested and rude staff, and cocktails that were served in wine glasses without even a sniff of garnish. A nice bar in a nice location spoiled by shoddy service and lack of interest. When you’re walking by the Jubilee Gardens, keep walking!

If you’re visiting London, you MUST go to Westminster(trust me, just go) and if you’re in Westminster you MUST come here! We stumbled across this little gem on our hunt for London’s famous ‘Fish n Chips’ and I am so glad we got to try it here. If you are looking to try it, this is where to get it. Their fish is breaded sea bass(yum!) and chips(fries), ofcourse. We didn’t try much else so I can’t comment on that but they do give you little cups of smarties which I thought was a super cute touch and service was amazing, prices very decent. When you go make sure to choose a table near the window because you will have a stunning view of the london eye! Awesome meal, awesome service and awesome view. Will be returning!

Stopped by for a late breakfast and decided to give the full breakfast a try. Eggs over medium, sausage, fat back bacon, toast, beans, and tomatoes grilled. Enjoyed a mango & passion fruit fizz too. It was all tasty but I was missing my black and white puddings.

Nice set up, as Slugs typically are. But once inside, I’ve found it difficult to get around especially around the bar. In peak hours the place can be annoyingly crowded. Even less winning was my bartender who couldn’t deliver on a properly mixed Pimms.

My first time in London and I thankfully got the chance to see this beautiful bar/restaurant. Loved the meal very much it was delicious and the cocktail I had was fantastic. Not sure what it was but it was without alcohol and with lime. The waiter was very friendly and funny. Definitely a great place for a meeting with friends.

I only came in because the weather was horrendous and needed to get in somewhere fast. I can, t believe this is a successful chain! I had a salad with halloumi cheese and the whole thing tasted like rubber… like are you kidding me??! Just not good enough. Also was so busy I just can’t understand its appeal. We were given the wrong bill then the correct one took another 10 minutes to come! All in all, no!

Quick review here since I went for a quick lunch. Slow service despite there being about 6 people in the whole place, and it’s not a small place this! The waitress was friendly but slow, not brilliant at understanding when to come back for orders. Considering it was a lunch hour we were a bit pressed for time to get back before being scolded by the boss! I had a chicken queasadilla, which was average. The problem with average is that this place is a stone’s throw from Wahaca, which I think does incredible Mexican food. So average is actually disappointing. Also at £7 I was unimpressed. Good coffee, which came with a shot glass of Smarties — a kooky touch but I like that. Like the bar, good for drinks and always busy. But food, steer clear. Also quiet drinks, steer clear.

Worst place I’ve ever been to. Came here after going on a walk about. We sat down, waited 25 minutes, someone finally came over and said a few more minutes, then he didn’t appear for another 10 minutes. When he did he took our order and forgot to mention that both of those dishes were 86ed. Usually servers should know what on the menu is gone. Then we were stunned for a second and he got angry with us and stormed away and started spitting the dummy with his coworker leaving us completely amazed. We ended up leaving and going next door and getting far better and faster service. People need to consider who they’re hiring. Poor poor poor.

Found this place after the London Eye. Trendy spot. Lovely atmosphere. We wanted to try a lil bit of everything on the menu so we ordered 6 different tapas, red & white wine flights. Thoroughly satisfying!

The following review is not based on the food at this establishment! My friends and I came in here just about 1pm on New Year’s day after ice skating at the London Eye. The only reason we did was because Slug and Lettuce was closed. We walked in, we waited a little bit to be seated, but seeing as we weren’t greeted and there were empty tables, we decided to seat ourselves. It wasn’t particularly busy, tons of empty tables, along with many tables having their food already. There were three servers and none of them approached our table so we thought it was a place where we order from the bar, so I went to ask one of three staff at the bar if this was the case. On the way back to my friends at the table, I made eye contact with a server who finally approached our table and proceeded to tell us if we want food, it would be at least an hour to have our orders at the table. Seeing as it was past 1:30pm, we decided to just go elsewhere. The only reason we put up with the poor customer service was because we were just really hungry. But now that I have read other Unilocaler reviews, I’m really glad I didn’t get a chance to eat here.

Went here for a late lunch with friends. Sat at the table and gave up waiting to be served so went to the bar to put our order in. The barman looked like he couldn’t be bothered to take the order. They didn’t have what we wanted so we ordered the minted lamb burgers(knowing that they were lovely at Leicester Sq branch). When it finally arrived it was half the size of the Leicester Sq one and didn’t taste anything like it, the lettuce had obv been wet when put in bun as bun was falling apart from being so wet. We sat there for about 30 mins after we finished eating and no one had removed the empty plates or asked us how the meal was. If you want to eat in an All Bar One do not choose this one

The first time I walked by, I took one look and winced. «I can’t afford that!» Little did I know… when Slug and Lettuce was full next door and the server was blatantly rude and just walked away without even giving a waiting time, we decided to go here. We stood at the entrance for a minute, and one of the servers, I think he was, ignored us, went to slap another co-workers butt!!! then hugged another girl? We just sat down at a table, and another server came over, to take our drink order. I ordered a mangotini 3.95 after 5pm, very nice, very strong at the end, my friend got a cosmo, and then a raspberry lychee martini which was also strong. The server was nice and then we placed our orders for the main. I got a Steak frites(6oz sirloin) that came with fries and a little watercress. It was 10.50. My steak was more medium than medium rare, it was mediocre. The fries were very«light» as my friend puts it, which is quite nice. The atmosphere is very chill. A lot of people come here to drink, rather than eat. There is a big selection of wine, and there also beer, cocktails, non-alcoholic drinks, and also skinny cocktails! I am definitely down to come back here and drink! Maybe munch on some food if I’m hungry.

I’ve never had a nail in my food like the previous Unilocaler but… The service here would need to improve subtsantially before it could be described as awful. There are never enough staff here and the food is… well, unpleasant. The burgers are just a waste of time, the beef pattie itself is too small and it arrives with a slice of tomato that is too thick and a limp lettuce leaf. They ask how you would like it cooked, the correct answer to this question is always«all the way through» as hygiene and ground beef do not go together in anywhere but the very best of places and this is definitely not one of them. The fries are more or less raw and there is nothing on the menu which rises above mere sustenance. This place is within spitting distance of the London Eye and a short hop from Waterloo station, so they have a more or less captive market, they make no provision for the lunchtime with kids crowd in the same way that they make little provision for the nighttime reveller. If you are outside this place and in need of either a beer or a nibble, go next door to the Slug and Lettuce.

ALLBARONEISDISGUSTING!!! I went here and ordered food… three starters. And there was nail in my food! Yes a nail. Not only was this a health violation, it was disgusting and inexcusable. The wait staff was not helpful, and when I followed up with the corporate office, I was informed the General Manager would be in touch with me. Four months later… and this hasn’t happen. Therefore, its my mission to let everyone know to AVOIDTHISPLACE. The atmosphere was crowded, and the tables were dirty. See All Bar one, this is what you get for not responding to customer complaints! Pitiful!

I went here over the bank holiday weekend and the food and drinks were really, really good. It far exceeded my expectations in fact. We went for the sparkling pink sangria made with rose wine and cherry brandy which was delicious, followed by some of their small plates of food. had crispy mushrooms with a melted, herby brie. I also tried some of the Camembert and lamb koftas with aubergine and houmus. The décor in here is nice too, dim lighting with comfy seating. The only downside was the grubby glasses and the fact that my first bar tender didn’t know how to make the drink I asked for. Will definitely go back though.

With a smart, clean and understated style, this branch of the chain bar is a notch above the rest. On draught there are a premium selection of well known international lagers. Peroni, Amstel, even Erdinger Weißbräu. The fantatic range of wines were all available at a cost not too marked up from retail.
