This sushi restaurant is delicious, with cold and hot food and plenty to choose from. The tables are set in the ground so you have to bend/kneel down into it and it can be a bit of a struggle to get back out but its all part of the experience! The staff are very friendly and always come to ask if you need anything else. They use good quality sushi and it is always fresh. Would give 5 stars but I find it a bit expensive. A nice place to indulge, definitely worth it.

Once Hi Sushi, this is now Ai Sushi. I don’t know if it is still under the same management, but it is certainly a fine sushi restaurant. My first impression was that the atmosphere was nice and quite modern and clean. After that, the menu was very varied with many different options. The prices seemed a tad high but once we saw the food on our table it was so well presented that we had no complaints. Delicious, too.

While being in London for our first week, we stumbled on this place and absolutely loved it! We thought it was going to be just a normal sushi restaurant but when we went in, the seats were on the floor and it was very unique! We ate all you can eat sushi and it was so yummy! Definitely recommend it :)

Tasty sushi for a reasonable price, I guess catering to the large number of Japanese people living nearby. It’s a bit out of the way for me to visit a lot personally, but being on the busy high street it’s easy to find and a nicer spot than most other places nearby :) It has the novelty factor of weird tables that are kind of inset into the ground, so you kind of mimic sitting on the floor without needing to be a yoga expert. Maybe it should be called Low Sushi!

A nice local authentic looking sushi place. You sit around a table inside a square box, it can be awkward to get into but it’s all part of the experience. The prices are very good and the food is of good quality. The stuff in the restaurant are very attentive as well. They have a very good lunch time menu very good value for money

I love this place for eat in(the weeknight special is great value) but we mostly get delivery, which always arrives on time and with a smile from the lovely delivery guy. Fresh fish and a good mix of traditional and more modern sushi.

Great local sushi place. The all you can eat(available on weeknights for around £15 a head) is great value, but we usually take advantage of their excellent home delivery service. The fish is fresh, and the sushi selection is very good. hot dishes are well done but not as inspiring as the sushi — with an honourable mention for the excellent aubergine dish!

This is one of my favourite places to eat. It is clean, modern and very japanese! The lunch specials at 6.95 are a great bargain although you will pay a 10% service charge on top. I get my usual chicken teriyaki bento box. It comes with green tea and salmon or avocado sushi rolls as part of the box. The service is prompt and attentive. The waiters and waitresses are dressed in authentic Japanese attire. This really gives the place a true oriental feel. The low sunken tables are alittle tricky to get in and out of so I would not recommend the seating for those who are not very flexible or agile. Its like once you get in them you might have trouble getting out :)

Hi Sushi is great. You sit at these low tables in the back on cushions and feel very authentic or take a seat or the bar or overlook the high road. Hi Sushi is a modern restaurant, small and intimate. They do a lunch special every day with a choice of miso soup or green tea followed by the bento box of your choice. The salad dressing(comes on the salad portion of the bento box) is DIVINE! I have my quota of salt for the week in one go, but couldn’t care less. The service is okay in here, nothing special. Make sure you are not overcharged beyond the added service charge for your meal. Otherwise, enjoy this jem of a place and do go for the lunch special especially if your a meat eater… save a few bob!
