Despicable establishment. I recently went with a rather large group of people the the agile rabbit for dinner. After waiting a considerable amount of time to place our order we were finally greeted with a sour host who was willing to do so. Time continued to tick and at around the 40 minute mark the chef came out to inform us that they would not be able to serve any of us as they had run out of dough in the kitchen. No apology, no sincerity, no desire to make amends, just a wave to send us on our way. We were all genuinely baffled that ‘management’(I use that word loosely as clearly there is none) allowed such a large group of people to sit down, place an order and wait close to an hour before realising they were actually unable to serve them. Don’t waste your time here, there are multiple venues in the market with highly welcoming and able staff who would be delighted to have your business. Needless to say their food is also far superior to the agile rabbit.

Ok let’s talk about Agile Rabbit. I went there with 2 friends for a pizza on a Saturday night, I book a table as the place itself is quite small. All good, we went there and we had our table inside. The food is OKish… the Margherita was not marvellous and same for the Calzone. I am sorry to say that but there are better places were you can go and eat what in Italy we call a GOOD pizza and it’s not a cheap place too. On the other side I can say that the staff is lovely and the location is perfect as it is inside Brixton market. They also have live band music to entertain you which I found great :)

The base! oh sweet lord the base! For pizza made with love and care search no further. No crumb left behind!

We only had drinks and olives here, but the vibe was so chill and fun that I would definitely recommend stopping by. Our waitress was extremely friendly and welcoming. I had a killer mojito that was so tasty and strong and set the mood for a really great night.

Do not waste your time in the ridiculous queue at Franco Manca only to then feel rush and push out of your table before your half finished crust has hit the plate. Go across to the village and go to Agile Rabbit. I always test a pizza place on their Margarita and this place delivered. It is cheaper, better food and a nicer atmosphere. The calzones can be a bit on the MASSIVE side so sometimes getting a small one is better but you can take away if you wussy out on finishing it all. With a broad range of choices and amazing prices this is one of the best pizzas I have ever eaten and THAT is saying something!

An Italian friend recommended this place and the food was amazing. The staff were all Italian and they make a bloody good mojito. We got the garlic bread to start and two different pizzas as the main. We loved that the pizza was thin and full of flavor. Want to come back and try other pizzas!

Oh goodness… This was good. REALLY good. If you are in Brixton, you need to head over to Agile Rabbit for a nice slice of pizza. A friend and I spent the evening wandering around the market and eventually meandered over to this sweet little place for some dinner. With wide eyes and growling stomaches, we ordered the proscuitto, parmesan and arugula pizza, which was delicious. The area is wonderful for people watching and enjoying a less explored area of London.

I have to give them props for cranking out Naples-inspired pizza, which they sell by the slice — a rare option in London. While they had all the right elements, I found the pizza to be simply O.K. There’s some work needed on the crust and cheese. Also, as a note to people unfamiliar with this market, the whole complex is an indoor market of stall-like businesses, rather than stand-alone, traditional restaurants. In other words, it’s very casual and almost picnic-like as you might be sharing a table or sitting in a walkway. But it’s also cool in a bustling market way.

This place isn’t the best pizza place in Balham, but for a bar it serves fantastic food and is really great for meeting for a quiet one!

More than just a bar, it also sells pizza and other nibbles. A good range of drinks and most evenings, performances, it may be theatrical/musical. There are blankets strewn around for keeping out the cold, and everyone seems to be enjoying themselves, staff and punters alike.

Agile Rabbit. Great pizzas. But that’s just part of the reason the masses come here. They’re carved themselves out to be the hangout spot of Brixton Village Market. People throng here on a Thursday night to drink, chat, listen to music and, of course, eat pizza. It’s a great place to be.

It’s funny, these guys opening in the next bit of the market down from Franco Manca. See, I’ve got it lucky as I live less than 200m from Franco Manca, and so I can work from home from time to time, pop in on a Thursday afternoon, and get my fix. On the weekends, though, I come to Agile Rabbit. a) By the slice! b) Clever creatoins c)(almost) never a queue. It’s a bit like how Starbuck’s opens wherever there’s another coffee shop nearby. Brixton Market is a pizza destination — if you’re on your feet, in a hurry, or don’t wanna wait, head to Agile Rabbit.
