I worked for them a few months before my student visa expired in 2007-​08. I found them generally pleasant and helpful. I took a few odd assignments, then took a more regular position at a Vodafone store. The pay wasn’t great, but it paid the rent, and I enjoyed the job. I attempted other temp agencies in London as well, but this is the only one that found me something for more than 2 or 3 days, so I’d recommend them.
I walked straight in with my resume, spoke to them, and then checked back every week. That’s the best way to handle these agencies. If you just email your resume and wait, you’re not likely to get a response. They get thousands of resumes.

Useless time wasters. I emailed my CV and cover letter to this agency and promptly received an enthusiastic phone call from a woman who said they would be able to hook me up with admin work and/​or train me if I needed extra skills. I was excited because she was excited, oh yes. She said she would send me a few data entry tests to do online, so they could determine my skill level. I never received the tests that day like I expected to, so I contacted them a few days later, assuming they were busy and had forgotten.
Didn’t hear anything from them for another few days… Eventually I called them and spoke to the same lady as I did before, who was much less enthusiastic this time and made some excuse about the internet/​phone not have been working for the past week — hah — and promised to send me the info/​tests right away. Never happened. Why lead me on? Makes no sense.
