I live in the Brixton Market, which is awesome– I have all the plantains, mangosteen, durian, jackfruit, fufu powder, legs of goat, halal meat, old– and new-​school fishmongers, butchers, and strange sodas I want.
But, you know, sometimes you want Sopresatta and stinky french cheese. Maybe some special olive oil, marinated piquillo peppers, and Boquerones.
This is where I go.
It’s tiny, but it seems as though it has just about everything. Seriously. Everything. Except Plantains.
The only sad thing? Closed on Sunday.

This is a great deli, with a good selection of cheeses, meats (try the spicy cooking chorizo!), fresh herbs, fruit and veg, various breads and pasta. And the Portuguese custard tarts are gorgeous. They also have other sweet tarts and cakes.
