This is a good and average Indian joint. It is popular with a decent crowd. Prices are reasonable and the food reasonably good.

A good local ruby. Certainly the service is well above average and the ingredients seemed fresh and well cooked. Enjoyed the atmosphere and the waitstaff were very attentive and friendly. Will most certainly go back but probably not worth travelling across town for.

I first ate at this restaurant 20 years ago when I moved into the area, and have eaten there regularly ever since. It’s not that the food is great(it is) and it’s not that the prices are reasonable(they are) that keeps bringing me back. It is about the vibe created by all the staff, led by the irrepressible and long standing main man that makes eating here such a joy. The menu is not daring, you could see a similar menu anywhere across the capital, but it is consistently of a superior quality, and you are always made to feel special.

Very tasty. For those who know their curries, you won’t be disappointed!

I have visited this restaurant over a period of 17 years since we first discovered it when the children were small and left disgusting stains all over the pristine table cloths. It is the place we always go to celebrate special occasions. I could die for those samosas! The prices seem to have changed little over the years and the owner is attentive and always around hoping you enjoyed your meal and had a lovely evening– beware the little extras– the complementary drink at the end of the meal and the after eights. Food is really good and I always eat far too much but it is a real treat to go there and be welcomed by such nice staff.

This is by far the best curry house I’ve ever eaten in. Every customer is treated like a member of the family by the owner and his attentive waiters. The menu is extensive and the food is excellent. They cater for all your curry needs whether it’s a mild korma or a ‘blow the roof off your mouth off’ phal. The prices are incredibly reasonable; in fact they have remained the same for the last five years. One of the many joys of eating here is the almost limitless supply of coffee at the end of the meal. You pay for the first cup and the rest is free. There’s also a complementary glass of brandy and a plate full of chocolate mints. I would recommend it to anyone.
