Their clothes are for a destinguished man caller who’s looking for that something special with a street cred edge. I wear their clothes and definate investment for any closet.

I had been curious about this store for some time until a few months ago I finally went in and checked it out. This really is a one of a kind and truly unique store, from the minute you walk in the door you feel a buzz. The staff are a crazy bunch of extroverts, one was sitting on the counter telling her colleague some story about what happened her the night before. After taking a swift look around at the beautifully crafted menswear I made my way downstairs, the green walls of the winding staircase are lined with drawings. For me downstairs was the highlight, here I was faced with a stuffed hog, German Fighter Pilot jackets from the second world war, Victorian Pea coats and some other interesting artifacts. On making my way back up the stairs the sent of citronella filled my nostrils and I got chatting to the owner who told me that he happens to be the co-founder of Agent Provocateur, he also informed me that the name of the store comes from a book with the same title, written by Arthur Morrison and takes place in the London slums in the 1890’s. Fascinating stuff and a wonderful addition to the East End!
