The once great shining example with what is wrong with the un-working class in London, of that which I am spawned. The place is horrible. And the line between ok bar and just atrocious is widening to be a field. one day it’s a music venue, next its a sports bar, then a gastro-pub… Fundamentally its the ergonomics and the lack of feng-shui that has to be the problem. Also, a Walkabout and a Wetherspoons are also killers to ones business. Can’t even tell what’s wrong, for I don’t know myself. Seriously. everything is wrong. but it’s not like its a violent place, it was once. but since new years 2006 it has been like the its present state of rubbishness. drinks are too expensive, there’s no space but loads at the same time. good garden, bad neighbours. I think they are planning to change it to a luxury apartment block… oh well

I’ve been to this pub twice to see a gig with some friends. Upon arrival, I immediately noticed that the pub was dead. There the upstairs area looked vacant and the bar staff all gave me a weird look and asked me if I was lost. Yes, lost. Not, «Would you like a drink?» Or «Are you here for the gig?» Just, «Are you alright? You lost?» Gold star for friendliness. Now I know why this place is empty. They were serving food the first Sunday I was there. But on the second Sunday I was informed that the kitchen was closed? Umm, its Sunday and this is a pub? What do you mean you don’t have any food? Also they advertise on the building that they show all major sporing events. LIES! This was the only pub on Sunday NOT showing the Arsenal/Man U. match. Apparently they don’t have Sky. Lovely. Suffice to say, I’ll not be coming here again.
