Been before and was ok, but went again and wasn’t good, food took 45 minutes to come out and we where the only people ordering food, food wasn’t cooked properly and had to be sent back and then still wasn’t nice, three of us out of four who had the kangaroo stake had food poisoning, asked for the football to come on witch they did for us then half way through the game turned over to different game. Would not recommend atall very disappointing.

Not far from Llantrisant Leisure Centre, the Penny Farthing is a small pub found on Old Cardiff Road in Llantrisant. A modestly sized pub, this venue makes up for its size with character and comfort, with a lot of quirky and unusual features to the interior that leave the rooms well decorated and looking busy. With regular guest ales and a decent selection of lagers as well, there is enough here to keep the regular pub going male happy for a few hours at least. As well as a mini menu of pub snacks as lunches, they stock the usual array of nibbles that grace the bar such as Bombay mix, salted peanuts and crisps which you can help yourself to while waiting for your pint to be served. There is also a great beer garden at the back of the venue which is enclosed by the leafy trees that surround it, making it look like an adult version of a kid’s tree house. The tables and chairs that decorate the garden make this the ideal spot to chill out on a warm day.
