Wizards Den

You will be amazed by how much this shop managed to cram in! I was very surprised. Judging by the outside of the shop, I was expecting to be disappointed and only find masks, hats, and accessories like some of the indoor market «fancy dress» type shops. But they do indeed carry full costumes, and tons of them.
Think sci-​fi, fantasy, movies, fairy tales, and so much more. For adults and children, you will find costumes in all shapes and sizes.

The Wizard Den is a fabulous little fancy dress shop in Walton Vale. They have a stunning window arrangement which only gives a clue to the huge variety of costumes available inside.
They have everything you can think of here from horror film character costumes and cutesy cartoon characters. The costumes, obviously depending on their complexity, are inexpensive to buy but they can also be hired. They all seem to be of an excellent quality.
They have an excellent range of sizes here. There are costumes for children right up to costumes for those with fuller figures.
The staff are lovely and very helpful. This is a fab shop.

The Wizard Den is an incredible fancy-​dress store situated in the Walton Vale area of Liverpool. The mere aesthetic of the place is unparalleled by rival retailers of this ilk, as the Den sign alone instills ideas of mystical goodness. Offering dancewear as well as party accoutrements and fancy dress, what’s not to love?
Enticed in by the Buzz Lightyear costume displayed in its full-​glory in one of the best fancy dress store window arrangements I’ve ever seen, The Wizard Den does not disappoint. Crammed full of a seriously versatile array of costumes, you can enter a normal human and exit as Dennis the Menace or Betty Boop. Prices are great, the wig, shirt and shorts of a D.t.M kit will set you back a mere £17.00, the comedy value of which is priceless.
It’s interesting to know you can hire-​out the costumes (but only in the Liverpool area). You can also purchase online.
