TJ Hughes can be a tiring place to shop considering its diverse range of departments, so why not sit down for a break at the restaurant at the rear of the store. This small dining area is ideal if you’re looking to have breakfast or brunch becuase its menu is simple, cheap and delicious. Plus, it’s all self-service which means that dishes are well-prepared and service is efficient. The restaurant has friendly staff and many tables in a basic layout. It is perhaps a bit warm and could do with some air conditioning however there is not much I can fault in terms of the food. I have ate here a couple of times when I was a student, as it wasn’t far from University. Their soup, breakfasts and summer drinks are a popular part of their menu as I found out. A 5 item breakfast costs as little as £2.25 so if you want something simple, traditional and tasty, I’d recommend TJ’s Restaurant.
