I lived by this chippy for 29 years and it was the best, now it’s not so good, like every thing else it’s gone down, i think the chef has changed. and some of the staff are down and out rude.

Very good Chippy, always well stocked and has food ready. Was the only one for miles with a mince and onion pie when I need one. Great place. Chips not too greasy and never undercooked.

Steves fish bar which is on Breck road close to townsend lane. This fish bar can get very busy on a match day. The shop is very big and tidy and is very well run. The meals from steves are the best in Liverpool, They do special meals even for children with a free drink and a toy just like you would get from a large chain like mcdonalds. The staff are very friendly and quick at making the food. The shop even sponsor a local kids football team and show there support with a team photo on the wall. It reminds me of a family run business who see the customers as part of their family
