Sometimes this place can be really good, somtimes really bad! It’s one of those places that you will visit frequently as last time the food was so good then when you go back hoping for another yummy pub lunch it’ll be horrible! Service varies, sometimes they let you buy drinks when you order food sometimes they make you walk a few feet to the side to order drinks. If you don’t like crowds then don’t go on a sunday, it’s a nightmare. We used to always go for the carvery(many years ago in all honestly) but there was always such a long wait to be seated for food that was never that nice. There’s plenty of out door seating and a wacky warehouse. Some meals on the menu are two for £10.

Located next to the Aintree racecourseon Ormskirk road. This is one of those brewers Fayre type places. We went last year one summers evening and didnt like it. Kids were running wild whilst their parents were sitting getting slowly drunk. Lots of swearing and noise. Food wasnt anything special – just pre-heated rubbish and chips – think it was just cooked in the microwave. The childrens play area was ok but had older children running mad knocking over younger toddlers. Wouldnt recommend it to anyone.
