I’ve been shopping in Milano for years, well, browsing. Truth is, at most I have only bought a couple of pairs in here. The shoes are predominantly tacky, supposedly«fashionable» but.not. You can, however find a nice pair mixed in; I managed to find a pair of plain flats for work(which are surprisingly hard to find at an affordable price and without bells and tassles and other wholly unecessary rather ridiculous adornments) and a pair of strappy heels which were lasted a fair while. Since the reopening I have shopped very little in Milano, I think I discovered better shops during its absence

Wow, I can’t believe this place has its own website! This is one of those shops that you’d probably walk past and dismiss as tacky crap, but actually has some really nice shoes in here. My mum used to drag me in here, back in the days when Quiggins was still on School Lane and you’d call into Dodo’s as a guilty pleasure(it was a cheap clothes shop). She’d point out all the awful shoes that she liked, and then you’d find something that actually WAS gorgeous, and find out it was £15 or less. Milano burned down a good few years ago, and then rose like a phoenix from the ashes stronger than ever. It’s a family run business that’s been going for over 20 years now and you can get bags and practically every type of shoe here for an absolute bargain. Ok, it’s not as cheap as Primark, but at least everyone else won’t be wearing the same thing as you!
