FAMILY BUSINESS JULIE CUNNINGHAM-wife, took over from her dad. SIMON CUNNINGHAM -husband (fitter) Surebuild.
Don't believe them when they say they understand mobility equipment, because they don't. They sell the products, and claim the Vat exemption and take your money.
Appalling. They lie to you. They don't listen to how you want your bathroom. They do not know the meaning of the word mobility. Do not buy your Bathroom or anything from this company. They are quite happy to take the Vat Exemption from you. I bought mobility products to help me in the shower, I seriously hurt myself when I pushed myself off the shower chair. The shower chair collapsed with me hitting the shower floor, and the hinge also broke. I rang up to ask for my money back, only to be offered the same shower seat, and I was told not to weight bear on the arms. I didn't get a refund, or another shower seat. The whole point of having arms on a shower chair is to push yourself off. The fitter-Surebuild only wanted to charge me £250.00 to remove the faulty shower chair. Faulty damaged grabrail in shower. The bathroom is know good to me, I cannot use the shower or toilet. My money wasted.
Faulty toilet Handrails. One handrail is higher than the other. Before they were fitted, I asked Julie Cunningham could these handrails be sent back, only for Julie Cunningham to say that the company wont take them back without charging me a stocking fee. Then in another sentence Julie Cunningham said that the handrails were custom made. Fitter wanted to charge me £250.00 to remove these also. they don't support me getting on or off the toilet.
The first shower screen I have since found out after purchasing and fitting = £250.00, that the shower screen was best suited for a wet room. Also Julie Cunningham said this is what she sells to mobility customers. If it's not a wet room why sell a wet room shower panel. Again we couldn't get our money back on the first shower screen (wet room panel). More money. What else were we to do, we were in the middle of a full bathroom change. Also Julie Cunningham was reluctant to send me a list of all the items we had bought. We got the list but the prices for the bathroom units were missing on the invoice, and there was a price difference to what we paid and what we were charged. TOO MUCH MONEY.
DON'T TRUST THEM. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.
They have no customer service, once they have your money they don't care. I told Julie Cunningham about my mobility problems from the beginning. They don't know or understand mobility and the products that they sell. Julie Cunningham would continue to ignore my whatsapp messages. The company has changed its name 3 times. They would start late and finish early, so not a full day. The fitter would continue to lie to me where he was. If you dealt with Julie, only Julie would deal with you no one else. She had another job, so wasn't in the showroom all the time.
I would not recommend this company to ANYONE.
The fitter would say something to me and completely say something different to his wife. The other male workers didn't have any respect for others in the house as they loved to talk about their sex life. They also like to put double sockets in, when you never asked for them.
