A pleasant hotel. My room was tastefully decorated and very comfortable — there was even a little teddy bear to keep me company. It was a good sized room with character rather than the standard bland motel style you often see today. I ate in the restaurant and had a lovely hot, fresh fish chips & peas after a starter of warming tasty soup with toasted ciabatta. Reasonably priced for a city hotel and excellent service too. Convenient for the Philharmonic Halls where I was going to a concert. I would definitely stay here again.

This particular hotel get used a lot in the summer by families staying over for graduation ceremonies. I like Feathers as a brand, they are an independent group with hotels exclusively in the Northwest. This particulat one is a very decent B&B which offers four star quality at very competitive rates. My main problem with it is that despite its refurb, it still is a bit too old fashioned for my liking. In today’s extremely competitive hospitality market it is difficult to please everyone I suppose. Still there is a market for the older consumers. However with rooms costs in the range £55-£85 you can’t complain. There is also a function suite where wedding receptions and Birthday parties can be held. Again it is a perfect location for a graduation party. The conclusion is that there is nothinhg wrong with this hotel, but I would either go all out and go for one of the nicer hotels or apart-hotels, or go for the really cheap option. That’s just me though, and you might want to take the middle route with Feathers, your call.

I remember my Auntie visited Liverpool and stayed at the Feathers Hotel for several nights; this was about a decade ago and the hotel still remains which hopefully means it’s just as good or better now than it used to be. My Auntie did not have any issues with accommodation or facilities which were all up to scratch. The owners seemed chatty and always smiled back whenever I made a visit. For a budget stay in Liverpool, the Feathers Hotel is convenient to the city centre and a stone’s throw from the student district and many top restaurants and bars. Prices are reasonable to say the least and you are getting for what you pay for, put simply.

I stayed here a few years back but the positive memories from my visit are still ingrained on my mind. The staff were so friendly and polite, and my room was lovely. It was at a great temperature with everything I could want, and was cleaned very regularly; it was clean when I arrived, and I got changed and went downstairs for dinner, and when I came back to my room, it had been tidied again! The food is gorgeous, and much of it locally produced. In addition, they have an all you can eat, helf yourself buffet breakfast, all the ingredients of which were perfectly prepared. Prices are good, very good for the location given the quality of everything. Te only downside is having to book for at least 2 nights; I was let down by this policy when I got stuck in Liverpool on a night out and needed a place to stay.

Having undergone a refurb this is now a really nice place to hold a function. I can’t remember how long ago I was in here, but I do remember an incident when an ex of mine started having a nose bleed right outside and I dragged him in and the reception staff were extremely helpful. Since it has been brought up to date and had a complete revamp, this hotel is an ideal choice due to its location — near to the university and train station, yet far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre. Due to its cheap prices it would be a great place to stay for a weekend in Liverpool and the food here is great meaning you’d hardly want to dine out!
