Chantillies is situated on Eaton Road, close to Alder Hey Children’s hospital. As soon as you walk in you are welcomed by the staff and given time to browse the extensive menu boards before deciding what to order. When placing your order the staff ensure that everything is exactly how you want it and then set to preparing your order freshly for you. Chantillies have a large range of food such as pasties, soup, baguettes, sandwiches, bagels, cakes, biscuits and rolls. They have a large selection of fillings to choose from, all of which are then used to freshly prepare your order. I recommend the steak, onion and mushroom baguette. This is delicious and all the ingredients are cooked freshly on demand. They have a good selection of cakes and biscuits which are extremely tempting. They also have a large range of soft drinks, stocking the usual brands you would expect and some more unusual brands such as Snapple, traditional drinks and fruit juices. The service is reasonably quick at Chantillies. During busier times you will have to queue for longer to place your order and then you may have a little wait whilst your order is prepared, but this is to be expected. Chantillies is a little more expensive than similar shops nearby but the food is very tasty and is worth the extra money.
