Carluccio’s

Nous sommes alles au Carluccio’s avec mon compagnon pour celebrer sa promotion… Nous n’y retournerons plus jamais. J’ai rarement eu a mange un plat aussi fade et a la fois aussi mauvais. J’avais commande des penne aux courgettes et aux epinards, hormis les boulettes d’epinards qui etaient agreables mais trop salees, les pates n’etaient pas assez cuites, les courgettes non plus et le tout ensemble: ca n’allait pas du tout. Mon compagnon quand a lui a eu des raviolis avec du jambon sec: la crème etait bien trop epaisse et il devait y avoir plus de sel que de pates dans le plat, si bien que nous avons du lui acheter une bouteille d’eau en quittant le restaurant.
De plus la serveuse etait assez impolie, nous avions l’impression de la deranger alors qu’elle prenait simplement nos commandes.
Bref, vous né nous verrez plus jamais dans ce restaurant.

Never again! This is why you should never judge a book by its cover! I went to Carluccio’s a few years ago for my birthday with my family and it looked so nice so I thought, «okay that’s where I’m gonna go.» On the night, the place was busy but we got our table quite quickly which was a positive. Then… that’s when it all went downhill. We had a waitress, who was frankly quite terrible and evidently poorly trained. Why?
1. She spilled my drink and some landed on me and on a woman’s bag (the woman was not at all happy and gave me an evil GLARE as if it was my fault)
2. I ordered pasta and the waitress asked me if I wanted cheese. I said no and she began grating a mountain of it on my plate (I clearly said no I do NOT want cheese)
This one waitress has made me never step foot in that place again. The manager did take money off the bill when we complained about the whole experience which was kind of him.
On top of that, the food was average, nothing special that blew me away. I’ve told this anecdote to everyone as a pre-​warning.
Very unlikely that I’ll go there again unless I know that the waitress we had has gone.
I know people have had a lot worse e.g. unexpected surprises in their food (my mum’s friend found soil in her salad! This was at a different restaurant btw) but generally, the restaurants I’ve been to haven’t caused this much of a problem.
Not impressed whatsoever.
P. S. ended up going to Maccies and got 20 Nuggets and fries (cheaper and so much more tasty)
