Great local in a weird area! Friendly, good beer, good food(from the Greek place upstairs).

The Bramley Moore pub sits on the deserted Dock Road opposite the Bramley Moore dock. That clears that up then. Although looking like the kind of place that would be populated solely by gnarled mariners sporting Moby Dick tattoos, the tavern is surprisingly not that rough. The drinkers are a boisterous lot but more in a way that would result in a piano medley than a fight. At first I though the interior was nice enough but it was only after a few minutes had gone by that I realised it was in the shape of a ship. Wooden partitions met at a point that was supposed to be a bow and posts were decked out with ropes and lanterns to indicate the masts. It was the most subtle boat in the world. Brilliant.
