I had dinner here a couple of times while I was staying in the Premier Inn above TGI’s. It is just so handy when you are staying there. The first time I was there, I got a burger, which I thought was a bit dry. The other two times I went I had a Chicken Finger BLT and Chicken Goujons, which were extremely tastey! I did find the the chicken finger BLT which was so big, there was just way too much food for one person(which is not usually my normal complaint!) I usually like to eat all my dinner, but I couldn’t eat half it! The Chicken Goujons were much more manageable! I must say, my two favourite things about TGI Fridays: The AMAZING garlic bread and the brilliant cocktails. Overall, you can’t really complain! You get exactly what you want from an American style restaurant.

Haven’t eaten here for a while as I’ve had a couple of really poor meals in the last year where the food appears to have been moved straight from the freezer to the deep fat fryer. I didn’t find it very appetising at all, it was on the lukewarm side however the platters you can share at the bar are quite nice. The drinks are pricey too but on the plus side the staff are very attentive and very helpful. Unfortunately if you go at lunchtime it is very quiet and there is little atmosphere. Thought the loos were showing their age, a bit scruffy. May be better at night.

I have been to TGI’s a few times and it just isn’t for me. The atmosphere is cold, despite them trying with all the pictures and models which decorate the walls. The staff don’t seem to have time for you, despite giving you their full attention. If you don’t know what I mean by this, just imagine being served by somebody who just wants to race through the order and get it done. As for the food — it’s hideously overpriced and not very good. Poorly cooked or just not very nice. There’s usually kids running around(if you go around 6pm) and the tables always need a wipe to get the spilled drink smell off them! Maybe I’ve just had bad experiences with this place.

TGI’s are all over the country, a typical chain. THe meals are from an American style menu. You get good portions of decent food. Service is ok, but it does get busy on a weekend. They also have a cocktail menu, this is quite overprices but you can get special offers at certain times of the day. This is one where you can’t really go wrong, especially with a family.

As TGI Fridays go, this isn’t a great one. It’s miles away from anything else, and in the middle of what looks like an industrial estate. The food is as you’d expect from the chain — large, American style platters, at good prices. Staff are over friendly, but this is great for birthdays, or stag and hen nights. I actually had my hen night here because there is a Travel Inn just next door. It was a bit of a pain going into Leeds to the nightclubs though, because it is a taxi ride away. All in all, a good TGI Fridays, but not the best in Leeds.

I visit TGI Fridays often as it is a place I love to eat and have visited various restaurants with my family, friends and partner. I love to compare the different restaurants, yet I can honestly say that none ever really come off better than the others. The Leeds restaurant is one I have eaten in several times and it has a lovely laid back atmosphere. It isn’t as busy as some of the others I have been too but the staff are very friendly and helpful. On one occasion I went and they served the wrong food to that which I had ordered, they were very apologetic though and quickly brought the right food and knocked money off our bill. I cannot fault the service and the food is always gorgeous. The combo platters are a great way to start if you are in a small group and the daytime weekday menu with just 2 courses for £9.99 is fantastic value for money. I rate this restaurant 5 stars, I cannot fault it.

A busy American themed diner/restaurant with friendly staff and a fun atmosphere. We were seated quickly and given menus before being asked what we’d like to drink. The drinks arrived at our table and we were given time to browse the menu before our food orders were taken. The food arrived quite quickly for such a busy place and I was impressed by the quality and quantity of my steak and chips. I can highly recommend the sticky and sweet Jack Daniels sauce which I think they should bottle and sell in supermarkets! We passed on dessert as the main course was more than enough. My only complaint is the price of the food, though it was nice you could get a better steak for the same price elsewhere. Taking a whole family to TGI’s could get very expensive, but it is a child friendly place that caters well to younger customers.

Good value nosh, served with a friendly smile. TGI’s are pretty standard fare in each restaurant but this branch benefits from such a good location. The parking is great and the restaurant is nice and spacious. The staff are really efficient and work well under the pressure of large groups. We had our work monthly meal out there last week and they coped with us all changing places during the meal as well as being quite drunken!

I got dragged here on Monday night by some friends and was all ready to hate it — but it was actually ok. The service was a little slow to get started but once our waitress came over the first time everything was fine. The portions are huge so we decided to skip the starters and go straight for mains with a couple of sides. I had Wicked chicken — two pieces of chicken on spicy rice with a really tasty creamy sauce. I really don’t want to think about the calorie content of this meal but I really enjoyed it. One of my friends had a salad — again nice but not a low cal option either. 3rd diner had the ribs — a half portion was still huge and she said they were perfect ribs — very messy and sticky! The side dishes were also good — spicy chips, corn on the cob and onion rings. It’s not somewhere I will be rushing back to but given the other options in this area(Frankie and Benny’s, Chiqoutios sp? and pizza hut) I was pleased we had chosen here. One final thing — I was driving so didn’t drink but my friend had an ultimate cocktail — was HUGE! She said it was pretty good.

I love TGI’s, it just a great place to sit and try different cocktails! The staff are always really friendly and happy to help out if you don’t know which cocktail to try next! The food is good but to be honest we don’t often eat there — but if you like cocktails you’ve got to pay a visit!

My family love coming here. The food is excellent — ok, it’s glorified junk food, but it is mighty tasty — and the service is so cheesily American you can’t help but smile. They’re great with kids there, and my 4yr old loves it. The kids menu is good, with plenty of healthy but fun. They’ve got these funky little clip-on high chair things for babies. They’re good, but the only problem with them is that they clip on to the table so your baby is in full reach of everything else, including your sizzling fajitas! TGIs are a little pricey and it isn’t somewhere you’re going to visit several times a week but we usually call in there after the obligatory monthly visit to Ikea and we’ve never had any reason to complain. Recommended for families.
