Picture the scene. It’s a midweek morning in a busy city, the rush of people grabbing a quick processed breakfast or coffee coloured dish water have rushed on to push their pens or flog their dead horses in the name of commerce and an acceptable pension. A gentleman of temporary leisure (that’ll be me) enters and strolls (in a temporary leisure manner) towards the counter where the fashionably garbed staff member stands ready, nay eager, to serve in this cavernous yet virtually empty restaurant. No, wait, something is wrong, she has failed to identify the customer against a confusing backdrop of empty seats and has turned to continue her discussion with her colleague in the kitchen…

I’m not a fan of McDonalds in the slightest, but this is definitely the best one in Leeds. The one the other end is always dirty and full of yobs, and the one in the Merrion centre is like a coffee shop now.
This is a bog standard, and yet clean, tidy and decent McDonalds. Its just a pity they all sell the same food, and it’s all rubbish.
