I do love this place. It’s not somewhere is visit on a regular basis, being as I’m not often found in a colourful wig/​with hair extensions, but the moment I need something for a costume it’s my first port of call.
Those who came/​saw the pictures from the Alice in Wonderland themes blindfold tasting Elite Event at Lazy Lounge may recall the fantastic blonde wig I wore — so convincing was this piece that a few were sure I’d actually dyed my hair! (There’s a shot in my profile images if you’re curious.)
Staff are very friendly, the prices great, and there’s a boat load of other products for hair and such too. Have a browse, maybe you’ll find something to reinvent yourself!

Hair City is huge with two shops next door to each other. I cannot emphasise strongly enough how fully stocked full to the brim this shop is! Endless row upon row upon shelf upon shelf of lotions and potions, treatments, oils, things I’ve never heard of or thought could exist! Their hair dye selection spans every colour of the rainbow! They also sell some natural hair dyes and henna. They have loads of wigs in every colour of the rainbow and every style, as well as clip in hair extensions and weaves, hair accessories, jewellery, make up and nail varnish. Many products are suitable for afro hair. There are offers on hair care, some of which is very cheap.
The staff are very friendly and helpful, and seem knowledgeable. If you’re looking for any hair — related product, Hair City probably has it… and in every colour of the rainbow!

Hair City is a large outlet which sell hair products and most importantly wigs and hair pieces. I love wigs, oh so much, and have been peering in the window whenever I walk past. They have a huge variety to choose from so if you are looking for a wig or any kind of hair accessories then they are a great start.
Also try, CC Hair and Beauty on Roundhay Road (who are worldwide and have a website) and the various outlets in the market who are the cheapest but maybe not the best in quality.
