Delicious Chinese, clean modern interpretations of classic dishes, they really use hi quality ingredients and this restaurant war rents a de tour from Leeds Central for smart good in a very unassuming upstairs room x with aircon and double glazing — who would have thought from the outside!! beware ! Yorkshire generous portions

Last night i attended the annual charity dinner in aid of St Gemmas hospice. The ticket price was £10 with all proceeds going to the hospice. G-wu has a nice little bar area on the ground level where we were warmly greeted with a glass of champagne and then went upstairs to be seated at our table. For starters i had chicken and sweetcorn soup and hubby had the chilli hot and sour soup, both lovely and fresh. The next course was a muxed platter consisting of honeyed bbq ribs, salt and pepper chicken wings, crispy won tons and some amazing chicken dumplings. After a breather, the main course arrived, i chose crispy beef in ok sauce and john had shredded chicken in garlic and chilli sauce. Both served with fried rice, then followed with a gorgeously light mango pudding. A wonderful evening of glorious food, the leftovers of which were boxed up to carry home.

we came here for my uncle’s 60th birthday and it was really lovely. A clean modern restaurant without the theme restaurant feel. Food was delicious. they let us have a birthday cake as our dessert(I did give them the rest of it!) and we got to play with a lazy Suzanne. I love a lazy suzanne.

Oh my. This is a very, very good chinese restaurant. It’s a very good bar too. It also offers a brilliant take-out service(collection only). A colleague recommended it to me and now we won’t look at another chinese the salt and pepper king prawns are a definite favourite.
