Shopping is hell well for household stuff anyway, but at least everything is under one roof from tvs to bedsheets, and reasonably priced, helpful staff as well, even their badges say here to help.

I’ve long mourned the loss of the George shop in Leeds City Centre, but it’s just a quick trip out of the city centre to get to Crown Point, where Asda Living can be the dealer for my George addiction. You just can’t fault the place for value, especially for kids clothes. My two have been mostly kitted out in trusty George clothes their whole lives and they all wash and wear beautifully. Where Asda Living is a big bag of win compared to my old George shop haunt is the inclusion of homewares and toys too. A set of three rubber ducks for £2? Yes please. A lovely new duvet set for our bed for £12? It’d be rude not to. Another major plus is the availability of customer toilets. As someone who goes shopping with kids, it’s a must. My only criticism is the coffee shop upstairs, it’s just way overpriced considering the value available in the rest of the store. I know it’s outsourced, but nevertheless… In summary: excellent value for clothes, toys, homewares and everything else non-food you’d expect from Asda.

Asda living is another fairly new addition to the crown point retail park which seems to be getting better and better all the time. What I love about Asda Living is it sells everything you find in a large Asda store except food. I find this great as you solely focus your shopping trip on the extras rather then food. The clothing section is huge and Geogre clothing is very reasonable in price. There mens, womans and kids clothing in a very good size range I think womens clothes for example go from a size 4 to 24. Its great for kids who grow so quickly. The store has a large electrical section and I managed to get a new up right vac for just £40. There an entertainment section with cd’s games and DVD and often they have new releases at the cheapest price. Great store recommended

We love Asda living! Great range of fashionable clothes and unbelievable prices. Always great bargains on CDs and electricals too — I love this shop!

Asda Living stores are a great idea, asda homeware prices without having to go through the supermarket area. There seems to be the full range of George clothing in this store, especially in the children’s clothing area. Fantastic value for money and plenty of choice. Upstairs is an entertainment/media area with electronics, books, cds, games and children’s toys amongst other things. There’s also a nice little coffee bar with a view out over crown point.

It’s an Asda but with out the food is probably the best description. Asda living has a large selection of non-food items you expect a large supermarket to stock across two floors. The ground floor is dedicated to the George range of clothing and the upper floor has a large variety of items from electricals to toys to homeware items to CDs and DVDs. There is also a café located on the upper floor. There is a good range of items though the entertainment side of things(CDs, DVDs etc) is smaller than some large supermarkets. The prices are excellent though the quality of some of the items isn’t great. The store isn’t a huge distance from the city centre shops so the location is very central. Overall it is worth popping into if you’re in the area.

I like coming in here after work sometimes, when it’s less busy(lunchtimes are a nightmare — everyone seems to flock here for cheap coffee because Costa gets busy quickly). My main reasons for coming here are: 1) The G21 clothing range. I love it. I don’t know what G21 stands for. I hope it doesn’t mean you have to be 21 to wear it. I’m not. But I like that I can pick up a nice top for under a tenner. 2) The cheap jewellery. I got some lovely pearl bracelets and a necklace(already heard the jokes about ‘Lucy got a pearl necklace from George’, thanks), each under a fiver. Ooh and some lovely black rose shaped drop earrings. They were £4. Bargain. 3) The DVDs. I love my DVDs, I do. Usually I get them from HMV or Amazon or Mozza’s, but also from here. 4) They do cashback. Which is totally awesome. 5) The cheap cushions. £4. I was going to say also for the coffeeshop upstairs, but then I realised that would be a lie, for it is poorly staffed and the coffee’s not that great. So that’s why I have knocked a star off.
