This is very much a local pub for local folk, frequented more by the older end of the Yeadon clientel who get settled for the night, rather than those who make their way up and down the hill and in an out of the pubs on the high street. It has a nice friendly atmosphere and is very geared towards sports, stacked literally to the rafters with football memorabilia. They often show live sport and there is plenty of friendly banter that goes along with it. They have a nice private little smoking area out the back, which is away from the roads and the passers by. Serve a good range of drinks(doubt they would do owt too flash though — probably not cocktails!) and the prices are spot on.
