I had a lovely brunch here with mum, Boyfriend, and a couple of mum’s friends. We reserved a table for lunch, and the restaurant is quite lovely. The menu is great and most of us ordered the regular breakfast which included both sausage AND bacon, as well as toast and eggs — awesome! The service isn’t the best I’ve had — they’re a little slow to bring water etc. but quite friendly and just seemed overwhelmed by volume(it was just before Christmas). The restaurant can be very loud, so be prepared for that! The food was delicious — really exceptional! I finished every bite, which my stomach complained about, but my mouth was very happy. The farm shop is lovely too, and we picked up a few cheeses and beers here before heading out. It’s not super cheap, but it’s reasonable, I think. Definitely somewhere I’d come back to next time I’m in England.

A lovely farm shop that offers local produce think cheeses, meats, fruit, veg, chutneys and jams and so much more. This is the kind of place that I could happily spend a few hours at, in fact I did! A table had been reserved for lunch in the café area, overlooking stunning views of acres and acres of fields… hmmm think I might move in! There are children’s swings outside, and outdoor seating with tables and umbrellas. A great space to catch some rays and breathe in the fresh air. The menu is extensive with light bites, sandwiches and salads and more substantial meals such as risotto all using locally sourced produce. I decided to have a sandwich with wholemeal bread with roast pork and onion marmalade — super tasty oh yes! Crisps and salad were served on the side. I also opted for camomile tea which was surprisingly subtle in flavour. To order your food it’s a case of going up to the counter where you are tempted with homemade cakes — carrot cake, Eccles cakes, scones… oh my! I noticed there is also a ‘crafty room’ where kids were getting creative and having a buffet lunch in the process :) Booking a table at the weekends is a must, as the place does get busy and I noticed several large groups were celebrating birthdays there. A beautiful setting for breakfast, lunch or dinner in the lovely area of Warwickshire.

Hilltop Farm is like many of these edge of town Farm Shops, the food is OK, but the price is unjustified.

This little farm shop is brilliant, especially if you want to get away into the countryside for an afternoon tea. With a great selection of delicious homemade cakes, one can either sit in or eat outside while enjoying the scenic gently rolling hills. The shop has a range of goods, though prices are certainly not cheap. Meat is prepared freshly, as are the enormous vegetables. A great place to go, especially with kids as there is a playground, but certainly only if you have the spare cash.

This is a farm shop located a few miles east of Leamington Spa. It has an unmade car park, a craft shop with ceramic painting facilities, usual generic farm shop fare from such names as Tyrells crisps and even sell some household goods like bleach. This isn’t really a farm shop. Little of the stock was that local, and the household goods weren’t even Ecover. There is a restaurant attached, which I understand is good, but I’ve not eaten there yet. There are farm trails through local countryside if you fancy a walk
