I live in Haworth and only tend to visit the EWM at Christmas time to get some of their great christmas jams, chocs and biscuits. But this isn’t what they are famous for. They have a huge selection of woolen clothing, fleeces, wax jackets and much more. I’d say most of the fashions here are for the older generation and I’ve never purchased any clothing from them. Their prices seem to be pretty good and the quality of the clothes on offer are excellent. They also have a good selection of scottish alcohol products from whiskeys and beers and also some nice spirits and cream liquers. It’s positioned off the cobbled main street at the top end so if you park at the bottom be prepared for a bit of a hike. It has recently put in place a small café so you can refresh with a drink before you browse their stock!

Edinburgh Woollen Mill is one of those shops that attracts tourists but isn’t really a place where people who live nearby tend to visit. Definitely geared at the older end of the market though you can get nice Christmas presents here. Also, they serve Costa Coffee and there is seating outside — so on a sunny day it can be a perfect alternative to one of the busier cafes on Haworth Main Street
