Very nice food. I understand what people mean when they say the service is a little lacking. Our waitress was lovely but our waiter was a little note cool. My prawns were over cooked but otherwise everything food wise was very tasty. My father absolutely loves it and has recommended all his friends go there.

My parents live in Folkestone, but my wife and I live in California. On our last visit to Kent, my wife and I walked from Folkestone to Hythe and stopped in at the Everest Inn, hoping it would be good food. We were absolutely delighted with the food and the service. Extremely tasty food, and the owners/operators were very friendly. We went back the next day, with my parents! I loved the Gurkha beer glasses, and the owner gave me 4 of them to take back to California with me! We hope to visit Kent again in 2013, and Everest Inn will be at the top of our places to eat. Try the Fantastico for desert!!!

Booking is advisable as this restaurant is a busy place, especially at the weekends. The wide choice of Nepalese food is bound to offer something for everyone and it is all cooked perfectly. The service is attentive without being over-bearing — they are there just as you think you might need someone. A good wine and beer list is the finishing touch to the menu.

This place does lovely Nepalese food. Which if you haven’t had is a bit like Indian food but has a subtler flavour. Nice modern décor, with good gaps between the tables so you don’t feel squeezed in. The people running the place are mostly ex-Gurkha soldiers, the service is excellent, the people are really friendly and you never have to wait for service. The food is a wide variety with good choices for vegetarians and some unusual fish dishes which did not disappoint. Its always busy at weekends so a good idea to book. Good wine list and the prices are fairly middle of the road for above average quality.
