Holiday Inn Hotel Hull Marina

I have stayed in this hotel for only two nights. Seems okay, nothing that special, but they seem to have the essentials that I need, rather than want.
However, my hotel room had a widescreen LG TV, but unfortunately there was no cable and no satellite TV; just Freeview only. I’m afraid to say.
My reasons for visiting Hull are not for the Holiday Inn Hull Marina, they were for attending my younger brother’s Graduation Ceremony (University of Hull).
The breakfast and dinner at Holiday Inn Hull Marina was very good and I really seem to like it. Hull was Britain’s number famous fishing town, but with regret not anymore.
The music band, the Beautiful South, were originally from Hull. Before they were known as The Housemartins. Paul Heaton from the Beautiful South still has a house near Hull.

This hotel is in a great position — it is a short walking distance to the city centre but has the advantage of being right on the marina. Just outside the front of the hotel all the boats are bobbing around, and talking a stroll along the water you arrive at the sea to a most beautiful view.
The hotel itself is clean and comfortable. The room we stayed in was an executive room and it had a view of the water which was nice. The breakfast was particularly good — a well supplied buffet with lots of choice — and the best bit — right by the side of the water.
Easy to find, just off the main road.
