I’m not sure the kind of other places the above reviewers dine, but clearly they are either staff members or have very low standards of what is good food. I took my mother here for lunch as it appeared to be a classy looking establishment. As soon as my burger and chips arrived, which took 10 minutes, the alarm bells started ringing. The burger was sloppy, watery and certainly not 100% beef, and the chips were dry French fries that had less flavour than McDonalds own. My mothered ordered a jacket potato which was had clearly been precooked and reheated. The lettuce leaves were limp and not fresh. The service was substandard and we were not even asked if we enjoyed our meal… I have never written an online review before, but I’m so disgusted at the low quality and high priced that I had to warn others.

Nice little café bar, very close to the transport interchange. Not tried the food yet, but the coffee is good.

Café Pasaz is a modern, airy café bar and bistro with a welcoming atmosphere. Slap bang in the city centre of Hull, Café Pasaz is the ideal spot to grab a bite any time of day. The staff are friendly and attentive and the menu extensive, yet conservatively priced. There is usually also a host of equally delicious specials available, which, like the set menu, are all cooked from scratch. As such, the chef will happily accommodate requests to tailor the meal to your taste. The food is brought quickly, piping hot and beautifully presented. Having visited with friends on a number of occasions, everyone agrees the food has always been absolutely scrumptious and generously proportioned. A much recommend hidden gem for you to try and love.
