The lovely ladies who work in here are always ready for a laugh. It doesnt open til 8 on a morning but it is so busy all day. Room is tight but then the science facilities are not as up to date as the rest of the universitys. Its a place to watch the rather eccentric science tutors gather and discuss strange chemical equations. the food choice is good for the size of it but as on the rest of the campus, things arent cheap.

This is the most geeky(in a good way) place to have a coffee or a sandwich on the Queensgate Campus. The café is located in the patio/atrium of the Science Building, so it’s surrounded with thick, shiny sliver pipes and lab-ish rooms. There is also a red light, which makes the place look a bit industrial — the place is very intriguing, for sure! There are just a few tables over there, but most people just use is as a take away, rather than sitting there for lunch. The choice of stuff is not huge, but decent. Not bad, why not give it a try if you are on campus?

This café is located on the ground floor of the Science Building. The Courtyard offers a large variety of food to either eat in, such as jacket potatoes, panini toasted sandwiches, soups, etc or take out for example sandwiches and baguettes, cakes, cookies, confectionery, hot and cold drinks. There is nice and warm. The problem is, there are usually a lot of people so sometimes it is hard to find a free table.
