Hove cycles are the kind of tiny little independent high street cycle store that has all but fallen into extinction in this day and age. The small store on Blatchlington Road is a prime example of all the usual pros and cons of a smaller store. On the upside that is a real focus on old fashioned family friendly cycling the service is keen though the staff is small and is prone to limited product knowledge. That’s not to say that they don’t know what they are all about by any means. It’s simply a side effect of one of the down sides of the smaller retailer; in this case that down side is the limited selection of stock

If your properly into road and racing bikes or you want to purchase one, I would recommend this shop. The staff are really well informed and have a really good understanding of these types of bikes and can really help you to choose the right one. It’s not like going into a huge Halford’s where the staff might have as much a clue about bikes as you do, these guys really know their onions. Schwimm specialists

Wanna guess what we’re dealing with here kids? No way! Bikes?! How was I SO right?! That’s like some Derren Brown shiz right there! Hove Cycles is actually a really nice little bike store. Blatchington Road can be a pretty depressing place at times, so it’s nice to see some shiny new mechanical marvels to brighten up your day. With top brands such as a Schwinn, you might find yourself forking out some serious cash, but then again, these are some serious bikes. If I was looking for a decent road, or mountain bike, I’d definitely check out Hove Cycles. With a small place like this, you also tend to get the benefit of knowledgeable staff, which is why they are still in business competing with the likes of Halfords, Bike Hut and the other biking big boys. It’s nice to see they’re keeping afloat and that passionate people still succeed.
