Bronzed skin looks great, as do silver skintight shiny latex leggings, but people would apparently rather have a Gold Stone than any of the aforementioned. I’d much rather have a Gold Stone than a Cold Stone, which I think is the worst ice cream chain in history. And a Mold Stone is just gross. A Rolled Stone could start a rockslide or landslide or avalanche. And a Trolled Stone is an angry stone who has been infuriated by people online. First-Hand Experience: More info about my personal experience at this stadium — I watched Oxford get beaten by Brighton at the Goldstone when I was a kid, and while the Brighton fans, and atmosphere, and experience and city in general were wonderful, I didn’t really love this stadium. It was a bit open and run-down, and their new place is an amazing palace. I think the year I came to see a game here was 1994, a few months after the USA World Cup. Wow, has it really been that long. I’ve been to most UK&US stadiums, due to lifelong obsessions with travel, sport & especially footy(soccer to Americans). Born & raised in England, I followed Oxford United(hometown team) to stadia all over the country at away games, and later Liverpool(fave team) around. Every stadium review — like all my reviews — are from first-hand personal experience, usually from several visits. In 2011, I was on music tour in the UK, and visited most stadiums for fun in my spare time. As recently as Fall 2014, when I was«stuck» in UK for 3 months, I went to hundreds yet again while travelling. I have pictures of me at most, which I’ll post later. Also, when back in UK I’ll take more pix, and add more stadia! *** return to regular review *** This stadium is the spiritual home of Brighton, and will be for a few more years until they make a lot more memories in the AMEX. The AMEX is 10 times the stadium this ever was, in fact 100 times. This was one of the worst stadiums, like, ever. Okay not at all, it was pretty good, but by comparison, it was nothing special. It served Albion from 1901 until 1997, and Wimbledon FC played their European matches here at one point. It’s been turned into a retail park now. Thanks for the memories, even though they weren’t so great. The Amex tastes like you, but sweeter.
