Although this tiny branch of the Yorkshire Building Society which is the only bank remaining in Honley has a mere 3 staff, it more than makes up for that by being so friendly and helpful. They know most of the customers by name and will often ask after other members of the family if they are not too busy (but not on Saturday mornings though, as there is always a long queue then). And yet they provide all the most up to date financial services that modern life dictates we need. It’s one of the great things about living in a village!
