How times change… When I was a kid I remember camping stores selling a range of tents, sleeping bags, stoves, kettles and very little else. These days, there seems to be no end of things you can buy from inflatable beds and pop up tents to designer fleeces. This particular Millets in suburban Haywards Heath also sells a brillliant range of cheap, stocking friendly gifts and gadgets for campers including head-lamps, flasks, trek mugs, thermal survival blankets and windproof lighters. My favourite however, has to be the re-usable handwarmers. If only they’d sold those in the 70s!
