Decent curry house, have eaten there and had takeaways a couple of times. Food has always been good, if not spectacular. Eating in, the staff were friendly enough and food arrived in fairly good time. It’s decent enough in there but it’s certainly not somewhere you want to take someone if you wanted to impress them, it’s certainly not lavish.

The staff here are really nice and friendly. On the numerous times i have eaten here the food has always arrived in quick time. The korma, balti, bhuna are the dishes that i mainly eat and they are so good, i have tried to copy the recipe at home but it doesn’t taste anywhere near as nice. The drinks are all reasonably priced and the tables are set so you have enough leg room and are not too close to other customers. Can’t really think of any downsides to eating here as it is so nice. Overall perfect!

The Taj Mahal has been awarded a Tiffin Cup for having the best Asian food in the UK. The staff are really helpful and friendly, and the food is truly outstanding. I’ve asked the advice of the staff on a few occasions when I’ve been trying to be a bit more adventurous, and they have always taken the time to have a proper conversation about my options, whilst remaining sympathetic to the fact that I am a completely wimp and used to be terrified to try anything hotter than a Korma! I have never been served a bad meal here. The prices are extremely reasonable, and whether you’ve booked a table to dine with friend, are picking up a takeaway or have decided after a lively night out that the only thing on earth that will complete your evening is a huge curry, this is the place for you!
