The University of Hertfordshire design gallery is a fabulous architectural building with a full front made of glass. There is regular exhibitions throughout the year with fantastic artists showcasing their work. The artists also hold talks based on their work. There is a new café with some funky chairs and table which makes a nice environment to have a coffee and chat/​work. It is part of the School of art and design where it links many of the workshops and rooms together. The design gallery also forms part of the final degree show of the students in their final year where they showcase their work to show family, friends and industry.
