A very popular restaurant and my 1st time dining here. It’s like I was at a wedding because there are so many dinners at big tables for groups. They do cater for smaller parties also. The menu has lots of options for veg and non-veg. We had a selection of starters between 6 of us. My favourites were the prawn toast and fancy chicken. We had the crispy duck for the intermediate course which was delicious. For mains the sweet and sour chicken was really good. I liked the fried chicken in this dish. There are many options of the noodles and we went for chicken noodles with sauce, but we should have gone for dry.

So, my youngest has just gone to university and is going to Westminster Uni, and is at the Harrow campus! After being out all morning moving her in, she had 5 or so boxes and 3 suitcases. We got to the point that we were ravenous, I was contemplating eating my own arm at one point, but we decided to stop on Station Road and see what Harrow had to offer. We looked at «Royal China», «Mr. Sushi», but the wife liked the look of «Taste of China» the best. so we went in. First thing you notice is the classic Chinese décor and bar as you walk through the door. We were shown to a table straight away, it was around 2pm and it wasn’t overly busy. We were shown to our seats by polite and efficient staff, with an enchanting water feature amidst the tables. The staff were attentive and good humoured, explaining some Chinese traditions as we were served. They took our order ½ a crispy duck, chicken fried rice, mixed vegetable rice noodles and lemon chicken. All of which were beautifully cooked, wonderfully flavoured and filling. The lemon chicken was sweet and delicious. The duck was exquisite and melting in the mouth good. The rice noodles and rice were a perfect addition to the other food. We shall definitely go back, we very much enjoyed the food and the venue. Highly recommended.

Stopped by for lunch ordered sesame prawn toast and Szechuan beef. Within 2 minutes of placing my order beef dish was served shortly followed by the prawns. Sesame prawn toast was ok a bit dry. Biggest disappointment was that the beef was previously frozen and you could taste it. A shame considering there are fresh markets all around the area of the restaurant. Service was fine.

My absolute favorite Chinese restaurant in the whole wide world! Had a set menu, which consisted of mixed hors d’oeuvres(sesame prawn toasts, spring rolls, satay chicken, crispy seaweed and spare ribs). A great way to kick things off. Then the crowning glory… the Peking duck. Beautifully prepared right in front of us. And then the main course was delicious as well. Not the cheapest Chinese restaurant in London, but well worth the price. I want to go here every time I go home! TASTEOFCHINA I LOVEYOU!!!

Very dissapointing Evening, Christmas party, restaurant staff surly and not very helpfull, some food OK, some at best poor. Being told ‘I heard you’ in a snappy way after repeating my order for a coffee when I had already asked and genuinely didn’t think I had been heard, summed up the attitude of the staff in this restaurant. I would say that Harrow is not great for restaurants on the whole, but we all agreed that evening that next year we will visit a nearby Indian.

Very good resturant love the food here. great service and friendly staff, and good food. Their dim sum is very good, the food is slightly expensive but well worth it as it tastes so good. We went there with teh family and we all enjoyed it they have a wide selection of dishes, we wanted certain styles of food that were not on the menu and they made it for us how we wanted, very good.
