Safebury’s

The name sounds a bit like Sainsburys, I get it. If you go to Safebury’s expecting to find a Taste the Difference Coq Au Vin ready meal, then forget it. Though you will be able to stick up on dehydrated noodle snacks with soya protein and sweetcorn nibblets (yes, I’m talking about Pot Noodle).
This is a fairly standard convenience store, although they do have the added bonus of a small frozen food selection. It is close to where some of my friends live, so we will often pop there to stock up on snacks and drinks for house parties.
It is well maintained and not as scuzzy as some of the other local convenience stores. Prices are as you’d expect — slightly higher than Tesco, lower than Waitrose. Then again, you wouldn’t do your weekly shop here.
