Cool place! Really neat atmosphere! Great food! Free wifi! Would definitely swing by here again if I’m ever passing through!

Definitely not worth the value for money. I ordered the Hawaiian beef chilli. It turned up with more like rice with shockingly tiny amount of beef chilli. More like dressing. I was shocked. especially with the price. Complaint the the manger. she didn’t really care. took it back. I even had to cancel the order myself otherwise Id get charged for it!(didn’t even eat it!) terrible manager. waitress was friendly though at least.

Pretty good health-conscious place. Service was prompt and courteous. Server even told us the approximate wait time. I felt like I was taken away to a tropical eco-friendly resort with Jack Johnson playing in the background. Although the quiche was a bit oily(see picture). Nice option to have at the airport nonetheless!

Don’t be fooled. It’s just another poor quality airport Applebee’s in disguise. Wrong order, cold, and serving rock hard avocados. The food in coach on United is better. The staff were very friendly, though.

Unexpectedly finding myself transferred to T2 due to a cancelled flight, Wondertree was the first place that caught my eye in the eating department. The waiter who greeted me suggested a table at the rear where it was quieter and I could watch the planes, and at my request even found me a seat next to a power point so that I could recharge my phone. Due to complications with my flight, I knew that this was liable to be my only opportunity to eat this day, so I went straight to the main event and ordered the miso & lime grilled salmon with edamame rice and the rather grandiose-sounding miso pickled cucumber noodles. Although the salmon was a goodly chunk of fish, the rest of the portion size wasn’t what you would call enormous. It filled the hole that was my stomach adequately I guess, but I found myself wishing that I’d had a starter. However I enjoyed the meal and the rear of the restaurant was a nice quiet area to chill for a while. If I find myself back in T2 again I know where I’ll be heading.

My heathrow favorite for a bite. Healthy and non healthy options, but all pretty solid. Service can be a bit slow, but not the fault of the waitstaff who are hustling around as fast as they can.

They lost a star because the food was a bit late and caused a little stress given our flight time. This place seems to be almost alone in T2 for breakfast options. I had smoked salmon and scarmbled eggs on toast. It was perfectly fine, though the toast was a little soggy. The others had cooked breakfasts and all thought them also fine. Not much to say really-it’s perfectly ok for breakfast and maybe later, though do get them to keep to the time estimate so you can avoid any timing stress.

Great moroccan lamb burger on specials menu together with sweet potato fries. Camden Pale ale to accompany. Restaurant is located in terminal 2 at LHR.

As airport food goes, decent like. I feel like this is clean food, offering lighter, healthier options but hey sure then the sangria cancels that out!

Wondertree(South terminal) in my opinion only gets three stars from me as I felt the service was slack, the food came on cold plates, the food itself was not even luke warm more cold than anything else, even my husbands coffee was cold not hot at all, and the crossaint which I asked to be warmed up was not warmed up at all. The only thing that makes this place a bit of a gem is where it is situated as you can see the planes land and take off. Also the décor is nice with its browns and two trees that are lit up. If the service and food came out hot then I would of definitely gave this place more stars.

Service and welcome friendly and efficient. Very pleasant place to sit and have refreshments before your flight.

I came here back in May, because none of the other places were that appealing. The service was probably the best part of the experience the food itself was OK. I ordered the Kiev Chicken Schnitzel and it barely tasted better than airline food — but I cannot put my finger on it on what it was was, maybe it was just to bland. Actually the United lounge had better food than this place, go figure.

Good food the best in T2 Heathrow on my opinion. Our server was first class so warm and friendly. The food can fast and tasted good. Not expensive for an airport I can recommend it.

Wonder Tree Café was a sight for sore eyes. Located inside the London Heathrow International Terminal 2 was the most delicious café serving up some tasty pancakes and tropical drinks. They have a full café that you can come and go if you don’t have time to sit down, grab a pastry and a coffee and head on out to your flight.

Eating in an airport can go either way — shoddy, careless service or the rare gem of an eatery that upholds its standards regardless of location. Upon peeping the menu at Wonder Tree, I knew we were star-crossed lovers. Eating alone, I was promptly taken to my seat and my order was taken by my cheerful waitress. I went with the seasonal fruit plate and mezze plate. Catering to my sweet tooth, I started with the seasonal fruit plate — strawberries, blueberries, and what seemed to be a hybrid orange/grapefruit all topped with a honey rosewater and mint sauce. This dish is as simple as it gets and delicious as it gets; I’m inspired to whip it up on my own. The mezze plate sported hummus, focaccia with red peppers, and tabbouleh. The tabbouleh was a tad dry but when mixed with the hummus and topped on the focaccia, this small plate made for a delicious mid-day fuel. From beginning to end the servers were attentive and conversational and the food was just what I needed to keep me going on my long day of travel.

Fun fact: the town I currently live in is 4.2 square miles. Heathrow Airport covers 4.69 square miles. Needless to say, you have plenty of options for airport food. We found Wondertree when we finally arrived in Terminal 2, and it was a decent choice for lunch. My husband had the all day English breakfast, and said it was all right– you’ll obviously get a better one outside of the airport. I had the dukkah veggie burger; it actually had so many toppings it was hard to eat, and probably would be better if they scaled it down a bit, but the veggie patty itself was excellent and obviously not from a freezer. The iced tea jar was an interesting concept– I liked the superfruit one. Prices seemed a little high but weren’t totally unreasonable. Our server was too busy, but friendly when we could get her attention. If you need to grab a bite after making your way into Heathrow, this isn’t a bad spot.

I started with croissant and I was going to order more food BUT since the service wasn’t great with me I paid my bill and left! She didn’t ask me about my croissant n how I am doing! I even had to ask my bill! But she asked the guy next to me for everything and paid before I do! Even when I was before him!!! My experience in Wondertree NOT great! Basically I was an absent customer! Thanks to her!

For airport food, the Wondertree wasn’t bad. The fourth star is for the Tunisian salad which was fresh and crunchy. Lots of good veg! My partner got the chicken and avocado sandwich which looked pretty uninspired. It’s nicely located on T2. The service was not slow, like the other reviews have stated. Definitely worth checking out if you want to sit down for some food as you wait for your flight.

I was surprised when I looked on the Wondertree website and found that this is the only Wondertree restaurant — a non-chain in the airport, whaaat?! Support independent! But then I discovered it’s owned by Giraffe. Oooh, that makes more sense. But still, it’s better than Giraffe in my opinion. Brunch was my pre-flight meal here. The place has a fun, colorful vibe, and I had pretty good service. I had a Tunisian Roasted Veggie and Feta Salad, which was fresh, flavourful, and delicious, and I cleaned my plate. I felt happy and full afterwards. I like Terminal 2.

Wondertree has some of the best airport food I have had in a long time! It is located upstairs right after security in Heathrow Airport Terminal 2, and is definitely worth stopping by for a healthy snack or meal before you go to your gate. If you are in a rush, just get a salad or prepared food to go and eat on the plane. I ordered the feta arugula salad(maybe called Tunisian salad) and I was surprised that it had been prepared freshly not long before in a large bowl I could see. I also got sides of great hummus and lentils. They told me one of the cooked dishes would take 15 minutes, but the friendly employee at the counter(Venicio) immediately assembled my meal since it didn’t require cooking. They were fast, efficient, very friendly, and surprisingly offered healthy and tasty selections. This is definitely a good find before a long flight.
