Three Daws

They had quite a good selection of rock/​metal on the jukebox so we filled it up! Then couldn’t find anywhere to sit so ended up outside and missing all our songs, D’OH! However it’s not an alternative pub at all, all the other customers were ‘normal’ middle-​aged+ people.
Average prices and general range of drinks. They serve food but we’d already eaten (and their vegetarian selection looks rather limited anyway). One of our group did have a dessert though which she thorough enjoyed.
It can feel like a bit of a maze in there but definitely has character. Not recommended if you have mobility problems due to the steps to get in (I’m not sure if there’s any wheelchair access, if there was it wasn’t obvious).

it is a good pub and bar it is a great place to relax and unwind after a stressful day. it is right by the river thames and is quite nice to just relax its got an old fashioned style and i definitely recommend it.

Good pub. Good staff. Good landlord (Lester). Good beer.
The wonky floors and low ceilings make you feel like you are drunk before you have had anything. Great views of the river Thames. Function room. Bar-​billiards. Good pub food, good wine menu, and not a bad veggie selection either.
What is interesting is that this place is in Gravesend which is pretty much a desert if you are looking for anything vaguely decent and this make the Three Daws quite special.
Understandably, it can get busy on a Friday and Saturday night.

Really lovely pub, with nice staff and a real character feel. It’s right on the river so you can idle away the hours watching the world (and the container ships) pass by. The food however is a let down.

Yes, a good pub in Gravesend. Wonderful wonky architecture and bar billiards as well as some interesting local beers. Pleasant outside terrace from which you can watch the ships travelling up and down the Thames.

Nice place right next to the river. Very busy at times and as its a listed building it has a real quirky character inside as well as out.
