We’ve eaten here a few times and every time we say it’s hands down the best curry in Gravesend. My chicken tikka was amazing. We just found out they deliver to our area. Can’t wait to get take away!

Went here last night, its not bad. Food was lovely, and came out quick. Tikka starter might have been a little under done. As it seems to be a popular custom in Gravesend to have a different indian chef every day, I will say we went on a Friday. It is a small place, probably no bigger than 2 average sized UK living rooms(10’x24’). The service was ‘ok’. They mumbled a lot when asking for your order. And typically of an indian restaurant in Gravesend it took 4 of them to serve you. One tip is to read the menu, and don’t fall for the«comes with rice» trap.

Curry houses come an go, this place has been here since the early 1970s, it may even have been Gravesend’s first curry house, it has certainly outlasted most, maybe even all, of its competition. It is small and cosy, maybe only twenty seats in total, the staff are super efficient and most of the customers in there seem to be on first name terms with them. I’m sure the décor has not been updated since the place was built and the music is piped, this adds an authentic British/Indain charm I really appreciate. The food is your usual Indian/Pakistani/Anglicised affair but is unusually high quality. The veggie selection is decent and they do a set of Persian dishes as well. Price is great too, my meal for two including beers is always less than £30.
