My students actually recommended this place to me. It is on the first floor of the George Shopping Centre, very easy to spot as you come off of the escalator. The staff are generally friendly and helpful, although every time I have gone, they have never had the lotion I want in stock. They also store lotions for some of the customers, so they don’t have to carry it with them, but this service has never been offered to me.
I have never used a stand up tanning booth and if I’m being honest, I don’t know that I am a fan. The changing booth (it is all self contained) is a bit small too… I usually punch the wall at least twice while changing or putting on my lotion. Sometimes they run promotions where you get extra minutes for free, which is always nice. And… you can transfer minutes to other members if you pre-​purchase minutes and know you won’t be able to use them. I usually don’t book ahead, but I’ve never had to wait more than a few minutes for a booth. The waiting area isn’t very large, so if it is busy, you may have to wait outside of the store, but the staff will come and get you when a booth is ready. If all else fails there is a smoothie stand just across the way.
