I paid my first visit to Yeeha today as I had some urgent stuff to print off some stuff and my printer decided to die on me! As far as Internet Cafes go, it’s the best I’ve found! The owner is really friendly, helpful and a chatty guy. He got me set up at a computer straight away, gave me a piece of paper and left me to it. Got everything I needed printed within minutes and all at a cost of £2.15 which I thought was reasonable. The whole place is clean and well looked after. There are a range of snacks etc available and the owner is only more than happy to help. Although I wasn’t there for long I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place to anyone or visit again myself.

This is a great wee place. Been coming here for years. Great if you have problems with your internet, or something’s your IPad can’t do. Go in. Puts you on a computer, piece of paper, pay when finished. They also sell more that snacks in here. The owner is a book Author too. Ask him about his books. It’s really interesting stuff about the pyramids etc. he’s a friendly nice guy too. Upstairs from pizza crolla, and very close to queen street station. And a few steps from Buchanan street.

I began using this internet café once I graduated from university and could not use their library any more! It really is a good service, the rates are very cheap and the staff are very friendly. However, the place smells kinda bad; like sweat or something, I can’t really place it. Kind of like a gym changing room. Which is a bit of a put-off really. However, it is one of the only places to print in the city so is invaluable. It is also open until 7 most nights which is really great! It is cash only which is understandable as one does not spend much there.

It was a good choose to be here to do our more difficult internet stuff. We both needed More then 2 hours of work in this café. If you need more than 5 hours of internet with print options, you better should think about buying a card for several hours which can be use in 24⁄48 hours after first sign in. The guy was very friendly and helpful when one of the computers was not working so we did get an other one, so we could go on. Two go helpful visits!

It seems that all you crazy kids with your high falutin’ smartphones and Blackberries and fax machines have made internet cafes obsolete. Most in Glasgow have folded; only Yeeha remains. So explained the fellow at Yeeha, anyway. On a Sunday afternoon I suddenly remembered I had to print out plane tickets for an insanely early Monday flight. So I was very grateful that Yeeha is open until 6pm on Sundays, an hour and a half later than the closest Staples. It doesn’t look like much from the street, just a small sign that’s easy to miss. Wear comfortable shoes for the two-storey climb upstairs. You may also wish to bring sanitary hand wipes; the keyboard I used was pretty grubby.

I was in a panic, my home printer was on the blink and I urgently needed to print out some things. I was working and quickly had to find somewhere during my lunch break, all the old internet cafes in town seem to have shut down but luckily the girl working in the Costa Coffee where the old internet café had been knew about this one. She gave me the address and I ran as fast as I could to Yeeha. It’s not the biggest internet café in the world but it wasn’t busy so I was able to log myself on to a computer and do what I needed to do. The guy working was really helpful and the prices weren’t too bad either. Photocopying and printing is only 10p and for travellers it’s great as Skype is also available to keep in touch with friends. Yeeha!

I went here recently when I had problems with my home computer to finish off some work I had to do. I have never been to an internet café in my life. It was super busy and full of mostly international students using email and the usual stuff. They didn’t have the version of microsoft word I needed in order to do the tasks I had to do, so it was a waste of a journey for me and still had to pay £1 for 15 minutes even though I was there for approximately 3. The rates are reasonable but it is quite cramped inside with uncomfortable high chairs which are quite close to the person beside you which is awkward. Not as comfortable as a nice University library, which is what I’m used to.
