Wizard of Paws

Was introduced to the Wizard by a friend who recommended it for dog treats and glad we found it. Our dog loves the array of chews — pizzles are his favourite (not mine though, as they reek to high heaven). We’ve also used the self-​service dog wash and found it to be really good. They lay on water and snacks for the pups, and you’re free to bring your dog in to browse. Highly recommended!

I really think that pet groomers are obligated to have a punny name and as puns go you don’t get much better than Wizard of Paws! We’ve been taking our Yorkshire Terrier here for 8 years and have always been happy with the quality of her haircut and the quality of her care. Our dog can be a bit of a diva to put it nicely and they are patient and kind and don’t rush through the haircut and upset her. If she’s having a bad day they will let her go chill out and come back and finish later. I can’t stress enough how amazing that is — they care more about the dog’s well being than getting the grooming done as quickly as possible. If it takes 2 – 3 hours then that is what it takes and I love that they put the dog first.
They also have washing stations where you can bring in your muddy mutt and wash them yourself. It means you won’t have to make a mess in your bathroom and they have everything you’d need. They also offer kenneling, doggy daycare and a full shop on site with food, snacks and other pet accessories.
I can’t recommend it enough and I’d never think of taking our dog anywhere else.

Your 1 stop shop for everything dog! The grooming team are superb and Peter runs a tight ship… Staff knowledge is a huge and appreciated resource and I have no hesitation wholeheartedly recommending them to dog owners new and old… well done

This dog-​friendly centre provides everything a dog and its owner can think off, the biggest attraction for owners is the dogwash-​ideal to clean muddy dogs after walks in the local parks. everything is provided, including apron for the owner to avoid getting soaked, if help is needed then friendly staff are always available. There are also dog classes run from basic obedience classes to agility classes (times vary) and there is a wide range of differnt dog foods available, staff are happy to discuss individual requirements with owners, a wide range of dog toys and designer clothes for the fashion conscious dog make this a doggy paradise
